Ride Exceeds Fundraising
Goals for Crystaltech MD!

The 4-person team representing the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA), which included Crystaltech MD and keen cyclist Derek Maher, smashed their fundraising target and raised over £4,000 for catering charity, Springboard, by cycling from London to Paris.

The team took on the cycling challenge and pedalled an impressive 275 miles over a 3-day period at the end of last month. They set out from Hilton London Bankside and straight into a challenging 984ft ascent cycling through the Surrey Hills to then complete the ride at the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris on Saturday 28th September!

Springboard helps people of all ages and backgrounds to increase their career prospects within hospitality, leisure and tourism, working to reduce unemployment and poverty across the UK. Our education programmes provide professional skills and tailored aftercare to people with barriers to employment or those in education. We also provide practical work experience placements and careers guidance which will ultimately lead to sustainable employment. With our employer partners, we’re able to find and develop new talent while promoting the sector as a viable and rewarding career path through strategic partnerships with government and industries bodies as well as our alumni network
